Fleda Brown, former Poet Laureate of Delaware, has spent summers on her family cottage on Intermediate Lake most of her life.  Intermediate Lake is within the Chain of Lakes, which supplies 60% of Grand Traverse Bay’s surface water.  Fleda’s rooted poetry resides in this delightful, contemplative Up North environment.
